The mannequin is presented as real patient without visible auscultation sites. The student must palpate to identify correct locations of hearing and will hear different sounds of the heart and lungs as SmartScope are moved to different parts of the dummy. A diagnosis of the condition selected by the instructor, can be accomplished by comparing variations in sounds occurring at different locations - just like on a real patient! The lung sounds can be detected in seven previous locations, and students can practice auscultation in six previous cardiac locations. A remote control operates several sets of SmartScopes and mannequins. Excellent for instruction in groups.
Listen to the sounds using the single or double the SmartScope headphones or connecting it to an amplifier (not included). The range of the unit is up to 30 m remote access. The dummy Listening Adult Crisis includes the full Dummy Crisis with auscultation sites, a remote control with LCD display, a SmartScope with single or double headphones, storage hard case, ECG simulator and electronic monitoring, memory and control Printer light that shows average current and provides hard copy printing. Requires two "AA" batteries (included).
